One year our son sold his house and stored most of his things until he found another place he liked. During that period, almost every time we saw him, he had on Birkenstocks–one black, one brown. He said that he had a similar pair in storage.

The little shaver came up with some holiday style of his own. His brother has a pair just like them, in reverse.

This actually happened to my husband recently. He went to work with one brown shoe, one black shoe. He’s NOT a morning person. He said no one noticed. I said, they were too polite to say anything! Merry, merry Christmas to you and yours!
